Fowler Wedding // Pennsylvania Barn Wedding

It was a hot September day when Cortney & Jared said "I do" at the family farm in Brackney, PA. A wedding day that I will never forget as it was one of the most meaningfully & relaxed days we have ever photographed. We arrived at Cortney's family farm and were immediately hugged & welcomed into their home by many family members who were hanging out with wedding preparations going on around. The TV was on with a football game for the guys, the women were doing makeup, final touches of food prep, and making sure everything was just so. The guests started arriving and the groom & groomsmen were greeting them. Children ran around giggling, there was lots of happy tears & hugging, and anxious peeks out the window by the bride! I loved how the bride cherished her sister's & mom being there and how they were passing heirlooms to her with their wedding gifts.

The guests were seated on hay bales with the pond as a backdrop for their wedding ceremony, and I don't know if there was a dry eye in that field as Cortney & her Dad walked down the aisle. Their ceremony was short & sweet and then it was on to CELEBRATE! The portraits were done in the backyard while the guests enjoyed cocktail hour and then the bridal party was introduced to the reception for a night full of dancing!

I loved that the reception was under a tent in their driveway with a custom bar in their barn nearby. They created a lovely patio for dancing under twinkling lights, it was so magical. We left that wedding on cloud nine, wishing we could photograph weddings like that every weekend!
